NY Times: How the Virus Won

By Derek Watkins, Josh Holder, James Glanz, Weiyi Cai, Benedict Carey and Jeremy White

Invisible outbreaks sprang up everywhere. The United States ignored the warning signs. We analyzed travel patterns, hidden infections and genetic data to show how the epidemic spun out of control.

It started small. A man near Seattle had a persistent cough. A woman in Chicago had a fever and shortness of breath.

The United states did not ignore the warning signs. That fucking piece of shit in the Oval Office did. Him, empowered by the GOP assholes in the Senate.

I am galaxy-class fed up with seeing clips, especially from foreign media, as to how "the United States" this or that. Let's be honest and clear here, media: "the United States" is not responsible for this disaster. "The Trump Administration" is. So call it the way it is.

And Moscow Mitch and the repugs continue to enable him. It's just about criminal, considering all the deaths that could've been avoided.
