FOX News swing state poll: Biden +9 in FL, +2 in GA, +2 in NC, +1 in TX

To be sure: none of these are states Biden needs to win.

They're not swing states in the sense they will tip the election either way. They are states Trump HAS to win.

The state to watch is Florida. If Biden is truly up by the margins some of these polls indicated, Florida may have its earliest call in a long, long time.

because of the large amount of mail-in voting expected this year due to COVID.

You've seen plenty of states/districts called already. Some states will be slower, and closer states may take a bit longer than we're used to, but a lot of states, even with mail-in voting, have still been called on the same day. It just depends on the size of the win and whether ballots postmarked on election day are enough to make up the difference.
