This is the first sign, at least for me, Trump may back out of the debates.

I've been on record saying I think Trump will debate Biden because he loves hearing himself talk and believes he actually can do no wrong.

But this comment gives me pause.

For one, it's not factual. Biden has already agreed to three presidential debates. Trump, on the other hand, hasn't.

But as it always is with Trump's bullshit rhetoric and attacks, there's generally a level of projection in 'em. His saying 'Biden refuses to debate...' is almost as if he's telegraphing things already.

Never agree to debate. Gaslight by stating it was Biden who never agreed and just continually lie about it on FOX News and twitter knowing his dumb supporters will believe it.

Don't get me wrong: I think he still debates because he realizes his chances are getting worse - BUT this is the first time I actually have doubts about him debating.

Stay tuned...

Was when recently his campaign floated the idea of a fourth debate, with moderators likely to be more friendly to Trump. This Mr. Biden's people of course rejected out of hand. But a 'double down' response would be 'four or none', coupled with claiming Mr. Biden does not want to debate. The line would be 'We want even more debates! But the 'dems' won't agree! They're scared to! So there just won't be any.'

He always mixes his lies with another person's "faults", with bullshit predictions, with nasty ass put downs, with bogus "many believers" to spew forth continuous bullshit.

The 1944 movie "Gaslight" w/Ingrid Bergman and Charles Boyer could be remade as Bunker Boy playing the evil psychopath Gregory Anton, and the U.S. as his victim.

I can't see Trump actually debating. He can barely do a news conference without friendly journalists, and this time around he would have to defend a fairly indefensible record. All Biden has to say is the following:

"When I left office, the unemployment rate was roughly 4%. Today, it's 28%. We had a plan in place for pandemics, developed by experts in medicine and epidemiology. Today, most of those same people have been fired by your administration, there are 150,000 people dead, and more than three million people have been infected (extrapolating from where we are today). You have been impeached, and only Sen. Mitch McConnell kept you from being relieved of your office. You have authorized the use of force on American citizens on American soil, have repeatedly refused to explain your actions to Congress, slowed down testing in the midst of a pandemic for your own election, and lied, repeatedly, on every single major issue every single day. It's time, Mr. President, to step down."

That's all, and Trump knows it. Trump will have to lie, over and over again, because he cannot tell the truth at this point, and he knows that he cannot do that. No, he will use the 4th debate as an excuse to not debate at all.
