Firstly a huge thank you to everyone who participated in the Spring Contest. It was a pleasure to host and for all those who came by and showed you appreciation for the pictures on display and to all those who voted give yourselves a big pat on the back, without all of you the contest would be rather dull!!!
There was one clear winner this month (and I have to say it was my favourite also). So without further ado the winner is
flamin lib with Do Bee Dobee Dooo . . .
Coming in second with Cabin in the woods is CMYK
And very close third place MichaelSoE with Surprise
Well done with a particular shout out to the winner - just stunning imagery

(9,655 posts)And it's nice to see that that cabin I'm moving into is one of the winners.
CMYK
(106 posts)For the low price of......
$ ?
CMYK
(106 posts)But if it were on the market, it would be about $180k. (The owners bought the land and then built - plenty of similar land available.)
Dem2theMax
(9,655 posts)you were just driving down the road and took a picture of that cabin.
I need to fall into a little bit of money. At least I know where I'm moving when that happens.
CMYK
(106 posts)I sold them the land. That cabin should be closer to the 150's, but we're between Asheville and Charlotte, and people are beginning to notice.

(9,655 posts)It really is stunning. I cannot imagine waking up in the morning and being able to walk outside and see all that green.
I'm in Southern California. Depending on how much rain we get, most of the year I'm looking at brown rather than green.
CMYK
(106 posts)My wife and I arrived in spring of 2000. Still love it. It's quiet with clean air, clean water, and no traffic.
I'd be pleased to be of assistance!
(No hurry, I'll be here.)

(9,655 posts)The words 'quiet' and 'no traffic,' yep, that's what I need in my life.
One of these days.
