October Surprise in July: Mary Trump, Psychologist, publishes book trashing frump in July

Mary Trump once stood up to her uncle Donald. Now her book describes a ‘nightmare’ of family dysfunction.

Mary L. Trump was embroiled in a feud over her inheritance two decades ago when her uncle Donald Trump and his siblings punched back in classic style. In an obscure court filing, they belittled her, alleging she “lives primarily off the Trump income” and is “not gainfully employed.”

Actually, Mary Trump had embarked on a new career. She studied patients with schizophrenia at Hillside Hospital on Long Island for at least six months during this period, meeting with an array of people who were delusional, hallucinatory and suicidal.

Over time, she deepened her studies of the disorder, contributed to a book on treating schizophrenia, wrote a dissertation on stalkers, and became a clinical psychologist. But not since she became part of the lawsuit in 2000 against her uncle has she spoken in detail about what she sees as the disorders of Donald Trump.

Now her silence could be coming to an end. Her book about her uncle — “Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man” — is slated to be published next month. The book is so potentially explosive that the Trump family is seeking to block publication, citing a confidentiality agreement that Mary Trump signed as part of a settlement about her inheritance. Mary Trump’s lawyer, Theodore Boutrous Jr., said the president is trying to “suppress a book that will discuss matters of utmost public importance.”

I fully expect the Trump administration to announce some kind of investigation into Biden/Burisma in October like they did with Hillary's email in 2016. I just hope no one will believe in that bs.

3. I think he's totally discredited to swing voters. They know not to believe him.

He might get his base to turn out, but it's the middle that he needs, and making crap up about the vice president won't hold water. Everyone likes Biden, and the idiot can't change that.

5. I actually don't believe there would be an October surprise this year.

Most people already made up their minds about how Trump ran the country. You either like or dislike where the country is going. I don't think there is any single thing that can change my mind right now. Trump is just that unacceptable that I don't think there is any choice but to vote against him.

In a rather underpublicized news item, given everything else that happened, the Ukraine did what trump in fact wanted them to do. Only problem is they did not give him the answer he wanted.

“Regarding the call to Zelenskiy and this story with Burisma. I can say that there was no pressure on me,” Ryaboshapka said. “The audit was completed.”

“I specifically asked prosecutors to check especially carefully those facts about Biden’s alleged involvement. They answered that there was nothing of the kind,” he added.

8. But Hilary's email investigation reopening was never about getting her indicted.

In fact, within a few days, the FBI said there is nothing new in those emails. But the damage was already done and Hilary's polling dropped 4-5 points across the board. The email thing wasn't about indicting her but to redirect the national message to go back to her emails. It was never about her wrong-doings but the appearance of her wrong-doings and bad decision making.

So they aren't looking for actual criminal acts of Biden's but to redirect the national message to Biden's non-existent wrong-doings.

I don't think this will work, or at least I hope it doesn't.

we can just point to the results of the Ukraine internal investigation. I think it's been effectively de-fanged.

Problem is, they will just come up with a different straw man. His idiot base will believe anything. Hillary's emails, Benghazi, birtherism. All they have to do is throw out anything.

Meanwhile, the trump crimes and misdeeds which ACTUALLY get repeatedly ignored by them. It's why they need the ACA even if they don't realize it. Swinging your neck to look the other way that many times will cause neck issues over time.

bailout checks with Trump's name once again printed on them. Moscow Mitch has already signaled that. The Noise will start week after the 4th,with Thune and Johnson leading the charge.

Hannity and Limpboy will be the first to blab the big secret.

I never believed in the "give him a chance" crowd. I just hope the rest of the country woke up. I lost a lot of my confidence in the people's judgement after 2016.

The second they announce that they aren't looking into if votes are actually changed, I know we will never get to the truth.

They’ll create a “border crisis” and Fox News will hysterically report that it is the end of America and only Trumpass can keep us safe.

I hope that not enough swing state voters fall for this bullshit

There will be phone video either proving that there's no reason to be there or that huge amounts of money was wasted on B.S. equipment/facilities, or both.

There will be footage of mexican kids playing safely nearby, and mothers hanging around hoping for a handout.
