If he has to check in to the hospital it will screw up his golf weekend.

But they were definitely Marine choppers, and they were aligned in a way that would be consistent with a route from the White House to the hospital.

She moved there in March...during the height of Covid it was constant helicopters, ambulance sirens all day and night. It has only recently slowed down. She has a view of the back of the hospital complex..I will have her look out for any orange elephants on a stretcher

'Chopper'.

Pilots hate that. Their craft is either a 'helicopter', or simply a 'ship'.

And please God, don't ever call it a 'hee-lo' around them.

Years ago I had a bird colonel as a patient and every time I try to discuss anything military he correct every other word that came out of my mouth. I actually sort of appreciated it because it’s an education, but in the beginning it was really obnoxious.

I got my end in though: Anytime he asked me a dental question I would correct his use of general terms with more precise general terms. He got the point, and we both had a lot of fun with each other. It’s funny, the ex-military brass, Ex-FBI, Ex-Secret Service patients whom I treated universally have all been the friendliest other oriented people you can imagine. With her sincere or not they have remarkable social graces.

One gentleman I treated in the 1980s had been a base commander for what was then a secret base. He was one of those interesting people I’ve met in a lifetime. And I can’t discuss a word of what we discussed, and when he died I felt as though I lost a friend.

It’s been a remarkable career.
