He's a decent, honorable man, and I'm proud to have him as a Democrat. But he needs to grab hold of this. He let Corey Lewendowski thumb his nose to his committee, and he let Gohmert disrupt important testimony. His own committee members were asking him to do something. He should have ordered Gohmert to stop acting like a 3 year old and stop the noise, or leave. And he should have said it in those words.

Nadler did put up with it, just like he did with Lewendowski. Remember the change in that asshole when the House attorney took over asking the questions? Adam Schiff didn't put up with rethug games...he was prepared with the law, chapter and verse, and shut their whiny little asses down. I didn't watch the whole thing, but banging a gavel and calling for order didn't even cause Gohmert to miss a beat. Of course he made a fool of himself, as far as this side of the aisle is concerned. You know on Fox News he's a hero.

Here's the thing. As every parent and teacher knows, if there are no consequences to negative behavior, the behavior will escalate. While there may not be a specific rule about "making noise" during testimony, I'll bet there's something about disrupting the hearing. I'm also willing to bet the Republicans would have NEVER let a Democrat get away with that. At all. They'd have been shut down immediately. Like I've said, I like Nadler. But he needs to take control of that committee.
