It's the Stupidity, Stupid!
You heard him say “grab ‘em by the pussy”, and said, “Now there’s a good Christian man.”
You watched him lock innocent kids in cages, and said, “What a caring, upstanding family man he is.”
You listened to him declare that windmills cause cancer, and that the Revolutionary War was won by shutting down the airports, and said, “This guy really knows what he’s talking about.”
You’ve seen his unending efforts to quash the release of his tax returns and his financial dealings, and said, “He’s an honest man who obviously has nothing to hide.”
You heard him take Putin’s word over that of our country’s intel experts, and said, “Wow! He’s such a patriot!”
The breadth of your stupidity has been amply demonstrated time and again, from cheering a tax-cut that ballooned the deficit and benefited the top 1%, to applauding his appointment of totally incompetent people to positions of power.
Your “pResident” has lied to you over 18,000 times (and counting), and you still believe everything he says.
That’s all fine – if you want to go through life as a gullible dumb-ass, you’re certainly free to do so.
But when your stupidity causes your fellow citizens to sicken and die of a deadly disease because you refuse to wear a mask, social distance, and take any and all precautions to prevent its spread, you’ve gone too far.
You want to go back to work? You want a haircut? You want to go back to your favourite restaurants and bars? Guess what, idiots – the longer you refuse to wear a mask, the longer those businesses will remain closed.
It’s so simple, even the simple-minded should be able to grasp the concept.
