The 2nd commandment said You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth .
Jesus did not that I know of talk about idol statues. He focused more on the idol of money because it was more a problem in religion at his time it seemed
but even now many Muslims and Protestant Christians do not agree on the use of statues of biblical figures as a good thing
