Just went to the local small town grocery...

to pick up a couple of items...no more...I've been picking up groceries curbside for a couple of months but forgot some things. Anyway, the employees are no longer wearing masks and I asked the sacker kid...he said they were no longer required and were uncomfortable...so, I'm in a red state where the case number is going up and a bit dumb founded...Mini rant over....

I just checked, it is available in Wichita (you can search by state / city). It is expensive (cheaper if you sign up for free delivery) - the tip can be high. It can be a pain if the store you choose is out of what you want, but you can substitute, and you get your food delivered. I know - you don't see them shopping for your food, but if curbside, you don't see that either. I haven't been in a grocery store since March 23rd - I'm too high-risk - so I'm lucky to be working at home. But InstaCart does get me my groceries, especially my bottles of Gold Peak Iced Tea Lemonade - YUM!

(btw, my food was delivered yesterday by a guy who works in our cafeteria at the office - he's one of our cooks, this was a 2nd job - good to know who shopped for my groceries!).

the online order with curbside pu I've been using is free, a little drive for me and they have made mistakes the last two orders...but gave me a credit for next time...my budget doesn't allow for delivery and tipping right now, so I'll just keep on...Next week I'm going to the early time when few should be there and I can pick out what I want...wear the mask and distancing along with spray cleaner and wipes in the car...should be alright...

I usually submit my order after midnight, so that it's one of the first orders of the new day - delivery by 10:00. But yeah, it is costly.
