I saw a tweet yesterday that said something about how we should all go to Trump's website, load as much Trump merch into the shopping cart as possible, and then just leave. It implied that the online seller takes some sort of financial hit or something when you abandon online shopping carts or something. Has anyone heard of this? Because if it's true, it might be the next thing we should all try out. Online gamesmanship worked pretty well last week in Tulsa.

(5,020 posts)won't you come back and finish what you started? Or, don't let this item get away, you're so close! Etc. etc. I certainly wouldn't want that from Shithead's websites.

(10,702 posts)Most modern shopping carts only subtract items when ordered. Some will hold them if they are in the cart. Trumps store does neither - the store they have set up is not inventory based as they just want your money and will send the items once they get them in stock if they are sold out.
Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
