Karl Rove has joined the campaign.

In the past, one of his tricks has been to leak a damning story about his candidate, then follow-up with persuasive evidence that his leak was untrue. That way, everyone who believed the leak comes out looking bad.

I hope NYT and WSJ have very convincing evidence that the bounty story is legitimate.
