Well, the WH bungled the russian bounty intel, so it looks like we need yet another investigation.

I mean... That's the appropriate course of action here, right?

A critical piece of national security intelligence and the WH somehow wasn't informed? The Senate and the House Intelligence Committees must investigate this as quickly as possible: Who knew what when?

I am confident, the Trump WH is outraged about being left in the dark about this important information and will welcome a thorough congressional investigation of what had happened.

Do the Chairs of the House and Senate Intelligence Committees know about it at the very least?

Pelosi and McConnell?

The Democrats can either go through the sharade of impeaching Trump again and the Republicans refuse to find him guilty again...

Or they can hammer his betrayal for the next 5 months in campaign-ads.

What's Trey Gowdy doing these days, anyway? I'll bet he'd be up for some more hot Benghazi! action.

That's what you meant, isn't it?

So, the Republicans definitely have an appetite for investigations. They will be so, so angry about the intelligence-community not informing Trump and will definitely try to find out the true timeline of events.

Immediately.

That's what a real president would do.
