Trump admits it: He's losing

Politico

Amid a mountain of bad polling and stark warnings from allies, the president has acknowledged his reelection woes to allies.

Donald Trump knows he's losing.

The president has privately come to that grim realization in recent days, multiple people close to him told POLITICO, amid a mountain of bad polling and warnings from some of his staunchest allies that he's on course to be a one-term president.

Trump has endured what aides describe as the worst stretch of his presidency, marred by widespread criticism over his response to the coronavirus pandemic and nationwide racial unrest. His rally in Oklahoma last weekend, his first since March, turned out to be an embarrassment when he failed to fill the arena.

What should have been an easy interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity on Thursday horrified advisers when Trump offered a rambling, non-responsive answer to a simple question about his goals for a second term. In the same appearance, the normally self-assured president offered a tacit acknowledgment that he might lose when he said that Joe Biden is “gonna be your president because some people don't love me, maybe."

He said that he was sailing toward re-election until Covid and it's not fair. He will blame a freakin' virus rather than do any soul searching or growing. He is as disaster as a human being and he will die not knowing that. SAD!

something. We have some deep soul searching to do about why he was able to become president and gut this country. Our systems need some serious attention and overhauling.

He can go fuck himself.

People are really pissed at trump and Abbott for what they've done , and what they've refused to do causing many more to die for trumps personal political gains, while Texans are dying from their failed policies. They both should be forced to resign.

The demographic trends sow that Texas is becoming more urban and less rural. According to these trends, Texas will be blue in 2022 or 2024. trump and Abbott are accelerating the process

go down easily. I don't believe for a second Trump believes he's going to lose. This man is delusional and I'm sure he believes he can comeback and win this election. He's not going to go down without fight. Nobody should believe for a second this race is over. It's far from over right now. We all have to have a vigilant approach until election day and assume this is going to be close instead of being a blow out.

He's never going to admit defeat. The fact that he even said that Joe might win scares me because it make me think he is up to something. There is only one way that this can end well. And I can't say what it is here without getting banned forever.
