I still can't wrap my head around romney's comments on half of America.

How can someone be so disconnected with the rest of the world? What kind of sick individual believes he is Midas incarnate?

That's what throws me. I can see one guy being delusional, or a group getting caught up in a folie, but freaking PRESIDENT???

Or so we thought at the time. Now, compared to this guy, they almost seem, um (forgive me for this but we are grading on a curve here), tolerable?? Yeesh, I can't believe I said that but again, in comparison...

the basic script to get into the club - believe that people are mostly worthless, lazy, stupid, gullible, not worth what they eat, etc, etc...

Themselves they imagine to be the elect, the worthwhile, the natural leaders, the evolved, or whatever.
