One American official told The Times that the intelligence finding that Russians had paid bounties for killing US soldiers had been briefed at the highest levels of the White House. Another said it was included in the President’s Daily Brief document.

The WH did not challenge that the NSC convened an interagency meeting about what to do about the report in March. McEnany did not explain why such info would have been kept from Trump, nor indicate whether he was upset at his subordinates for purportedly withholding it from him.

Nor has the Trump administration challenged the reporting that the White House has not authorized any response to the months-old intelligence conclusion.

11. All anyone in the WH needs to do is

go back to the original PDB, and it would show WHO was in the room at that time. Surely a log is kept of these briefings? Maybe Hannity's copy would show us who was there? Jared is in charge of - well - EVERYTHING, surely he heard this? Maybe he treated this information the same way he treated the Covid-19 warnings and decided there was nothing to worry about? After all, THEY do not have any relatives in danger, so what's the big deal?

by an oral briefing. Trumpass heard about the bounty. We know that he is hardly engaged in the mechanics of being POTUS, so the most generous interpretation we can ascribe to his inaction on this information is that he heard it, but he did not absorb it.

In reality, he’s Putin’s man so he was extra careful to not do anything about it
