Considering DeSantis fired an official who was trying to post the actual Covid19 numbers, it is not surprising if the released numbers are a lie.

It's the excess deaths that should be largely counted. Not all of them will be from Covid-19, but some statistician or epidemiologist can make a sensible estimate of how many of them probably are.

Also, at least some of the excess deaths will be because of people not seeking or unable to get treatment for other conditions.

On the up side, traffic fatalities are down significantly.
