They had dozens of explanations for the "mysterious" deaths of Russian political opponents and reporters in London that Putin authorized.

Suicides... revenge killings by people they'd blackmailed or stolen from... Accidents... Spurned lovers... The U.S. did it to frame Russia... Britain did it to frame Russia...
