Van Jones' work earned him the praise of Jared Kushner, who told

that “in a tough situation Van has shown me that he’s got true character. He’s focused on the right things.”

CNN wouldn’t comment on the network’s failure to disclose Jones’s behind-the-scenes advisory role in shaping Trump’s executive order while offering accolades for an initiative he helped create.

11. To be fair, he isn't really playing both sides

He's really just supporting tRump and kushner and he has been since the earliest days of the administration. he loves the access and he loves the celebrity: it allows him to be close to tRump, Jared and Ivanka, but more importantly it allows him to be close to Kim Kardashian and her husband.

He's been a champion of Tulsi. He compared Hillary supporters unfavorably to the KKK. He's awful.
