I avoid most social media but I do read nextdoor. I've seen a few complaints this year about Trump paraphernalia being stolen (I live in a very red and rural area)

More anecdotal evidence:

My Michigan racist cousin just announced he is leaving Facebook because "to[sic] much bullshit goin[sic] on in here." This was after my younger cousin, his niece, a doctor, called out the idiots who were not wearing masks. My racist/idiot cousin, who loves and respects his niece, tried to argue with her and he lost. She said something like "I guess I don't understand you because of the CO2 and the mask I have to wear 12 hours a day."

In recent weeks, the Zoomers and Millennials in my Michigan family have been taking down their idiot parents/aunts/uncles. It's Michigan, so it definitely matters! Also, on the leftist side of the family, a lot of Hillary haters in my Michigan family have come on strong for Biden this time.

Hope is a dangerous thing, but I am beginning to have hope.
