Carl Bernstein: Officials Concluded Trump Was National Security Threat

“In hundreds of highly classified phone calls with foreign heads of state, President Trump was so consistently unprepared for discussion of serious issues, so often outplayed in his conversations with powerful leaders… and so abusive to leaders of America’s principal allies, that the calls helped convince some senior US officials — including his former secretaries of state and defense, two national security advisers and his longest-serving chief of staff — that the President himself posed a danger to the national security of the United States.”

“The sources said there was little evidence that the President became more skillful or competent in his telephone conversations with most heads of state over time. Rather, he continued to believe that he could either charm, jawbone or bully almost any foreign leader into capitulating to his will, and often pursued goals more attuned to his own agenda than what many of his senior advisers considered the national interest.”

This is the thing that nightmares are made of Why cannot people in the US government come together to address what is being perpetuated by the POTUS? This man has single-handedly destroyed our reputation on the world stage. And yet, we have elected officials who are not raising an outcry that would shake this nation to it's very core. The impeachment hearings dealt with just one small part of what is happening. We know the POS was guilty in that one small part of what is happening. The door is opening wider and wider to what is actually happening. Time to put the whole sh*tshow on the world stage and take this guy down. We aren't becoming a "banana republic", we are a "banana republic" under tRump. Watergate and Nixon were a walk in the park compared to what is happening now, and we appear to be standing around with our hands in our pockets going "tsk, tsk".

it WOULDN'T make me 'shiver', because he's been doing this for 3 years and 8 months. He's a rabid, crazy POS that has to be put on a leash once and for all. 4 months until the election and I don't know at this rate if we can make it. All hands on deck...who's going to try and get him under control? Until today, I've been of the opinion we have to ride it out and vote him out on 11/3 but he's so out of control I think the Dems have to TRY and do something, hell anything at this point. Sure can't count on the Repukes to do the right thing. At the very least, if they start an investigation and hearings on him it will prevent Graham, Johnson and the other Repuke Senators from going through with their Biden show trials. Gotta stay on offense against the Orange Taint or he absolutely gets worse by the day. Gotta push back, not doubt about it.

Because. He. Can't. Do. Any. Better. You're seeing peak Trump at the top of his form, day in and day out. CNN, quit trying to pretend he's anything but what he is. You might as well expect him to flap his arms fly to the moon. Not gonna happen.

"... he continued to believe that he could either charm, jawbone or bully almost any foreign leader into capitulating to his will, and often pursued goals more attuned to his own agenda than what many of his senior advisers considered the national interest.”

So they elected a failed businessman , who portrayed a fake businessman on "The Apprentice" and thought it would work out well. We are doomed as a nation when this many people are not using their common sense or their "google machine" before voting.
