"What did the President know, and when did he know it?"

(6,622 posts)"What is he going to do about it now?" Now that the ignorance excuse has gone away. Sanctions? What kind? How soon?
Inquiring minds want to know.

(14,488 posts)Color me a skeptic after that "Russians meddling in the 2016 election" affair.
* Trump will never do anything of substance to punish Russia. He owes them bigly.
* How would anyone prove that Russia did this? They will deny everything and just like with the election fiasco, we cannot call witnesses or prosecute any of them.
* Good luck with getting cooperation from the Taliban or anyone else in Afghanistan.
* Assuming this allegation is true against Russia, they will have by now destroyed every shred of evidence leading back to them, including all people involved.
I suspect Trump and his minions will continue to claim the report was there but had been determined to not be credible enough to take punitive action. The burden of proof would be on us to prove otherwise.
