4. He gets a lot of mileage out of that, but he set up his own medical board to certify himself

So yes he got a medical degree, and yes he did postgraduate training, but his "board certification" was questionable and he hasn't practiced in many years. Plus ophthalmologists know fuck-all about coronavirus transmission/epidemiology anyway.

Lets assume that he knows more about the disease than the vast majority of other "experts." Does he think that all of the people in a public school setting are children? Paul is trying to force a political solution to a medical problem and he doesn't give a damn who it hurts. Schools should be fully reopened to in-classroom teaching when there is an effective preventative or cure, nothing else makes any sense. Missed lessons can be made up, dead children, or their family members can not.

where they have opened school in Asia, they have taken pains to setup smaller class sizes, and position the seating to respect social distancing.

In addition, mandatory sanitation procedures are implemented in those schools

Schools are giant petri dishes with pipelines to almost every person outside the school. The school is the node where everyone associated with each student comes together to exchange infectious diseases.
