(12,712 posts)Robert Trump is proving that fecal matter does tend to stick together, but I wish they weren't smeared all over our country like this. The smell is nauseating. Robert is calling attention to that.
It's like we are all on Mr. Hankey's Poo-Choo Trump train.

(12,712 posts)I wonder how the NDA, which is a private agreement, becomes the grounds for suppressing the book?
In other words, Mary breaking the terms of the NDA is about her liability, (and any legal remedies, etc. the plaintiff might get) but what does it have to do with the book, the publisher and her free speech as per the 1st-Ammendment?
Robert Trump can take her to court and sue for something like breech of a contract, but that seems to be merely a civil matter.
What are the legal ramifications of blocking the book, I wonder?

(36,911 posts)The trial courts temporary restraining order is only temporary but it still is a prior restraint on core political speech that flatly violates the First Amendment. We will immediately appeal.

(2,517 posts)To obtain a TRO, one has to demonstrate a likelihood of 'immediate irreparable harm' that would happen unless the action is halted.
Without reading the pleadings, wonder what donnie-t's gang stated would be their harm (and thus the basis for granting the TRO)?

(21,863 posts)A much tougher standard will be applied then.
Bear in mind that Robert Trump is the plaintiff, not the Donald. Robert would have to show irreparable harm to himself to get a preliminary injunction. Frankly, who gives a fuck about Robert Trump?
