Schmidt: Trump is drowning. Biden is readying himself to meet his destiny. A good man will lead.

Tweet from Steve Schmidt a few minutes ago, responding to a tweet about the panic at the White House:

They must be more than defeated. They must be repudiated. Most people drown not because they can’t swim but rather because they panic. Trump is drowning. They have lost control. The end is coming. No let up. @JoeBiden
is readying himself to meet his destiny. A good man will lead

Rick Wilson tweet about an Axios article that Schmidt was responding to:

5. From the Axios article:

Between the lines: N.Y. Times columnist Ross Douthat writes (subscription): "[W]hat was likely to be a slow-motion leftward shift, as the less-married, less-religious, more ethnically diverse younger generation gained more power, is being accelerated nationally by the catastrophes of the Trump administration, which is putting states in play for Democrats five or 10 years early."

The response: Tim Murtaugh, Trump campaign communications director, told me:

"This election, like all elections, will be a choice. In this case, a choice of President Trump’s record of building the best economy anyone has ever seen with the experience to do it again, versus Joe Biden’s record. ... With four months to go before the election, Americans will understand these differences. ... They won’t want to take a chance on Joe Biden."

To which, I say: The economy wasn't built by tRump, but by Obama. tRump was riding on Obama's coattails and anyone who doesn't know that is an idiot. He doesn't have Obama's experience.

but every no good, mother stabbing republican senator that enabled Trump to do his worst. It has to be a clean sweep. Then democrats must get to work and show the American people that government can work for them, and is not just an enabler for the wealthy and connected. Let's give the American people a truck full of very good reasons to never vast another vote for a republican again!

He thinks Putin's gonna help him cheat his way back to the winner's circle again.

But if we all vote, we can overpower that, and wipe that "advantage" OFF THE MAP!

To stay out of prison, Trump and all of his enablers and accomplices are going to need a lot of BIG LAWYERS, real soon.
