They had a special offer for $1/week. Way cheaper than any local paper. I used to get a newspaper every day for many years. It’s sad to see most of them going away and nowadays it’s at least a buck a day for very limited news. The Times does actual journalism and want to support that. Also about time to renew my star membership here which I highly recommend. Cuts down on all the pop ups which I hate. I signed up for Hulu when the lockdown started and pay the extra $5 or so to get rid of advertising. I used to spend a lot more time on the internet before it was swamped by all the advertising so a few bucks here and there are worth it to me o
