I will Veto the Defense Authorization Bill if the Elizabeth “Pocahontas” Warren (of all people!) Amendment, which will lead to the renaming (plus other bad things!) of Fort Bragg, Fort Robert E. Lee, and many other Military Bases from which we won Two World Wars, is in the Bill!

Fort Bragg (where I served for a short while) to Fort Truman for integrating the military.

Fort Robert E Lee to Fort Eisenhower.

After Congress overrides the Trump veto.

Fort Bragg was named in 1921, after WWI ended and Fort Robert E Lee was named in 1917.

Their names had nothing to do with winning wars. There names had everything to do with a segregated army, racism, and the Jim Crow laws throughout the south.
