Any Colorado locals have a feel for the CO-03 race between Lauren Boebert and Diane Mitsch Bush?

Just read headlines about far-right Lauren Boebert beating long-time incumbent Scott Tipton.

She has apparently made a name for herself by managing a restaurant with an armed waitstaff. She wants to "annihilate socialism" and go to battle with AOC. She's also expressed interest and sympathy in QAnon conspiracies.

I understand Mitsch Bush ran against Tipton in the 2018 race.

Anyone there understand the dynamics of this race? Does an extremist like Boebert put that district in play, or is she going to fire up her base?

I used to be heavily involved in Dem politics in Colorado, and I think Boebert's extremism will be her undoing. O3 is a huge district wrapping itself around Colorado like a big C. Dems will be out in force to get rid of Trump and Gardner, and the R's can't fuck with the vote like elsewhere.

I've been excited by the blue turn Colorado has taken. Not being there, I don't know the specifics of a district like that, so I appreciate the insights.

Kicking this thread now that the Rocky Mountain folks have had time to wake up and open DU
