Is it true that the criminally negligent Con

threatened to write his children out of his will if they joined the military?
It doesn't seem unlikely given that grandpa was banished for desertion and that he developed bone spurs.

It would explain his indifference.

mine sent me to one. There were a couple of kids there just like Cadet Bone Spurs. That was in the 60s too.

I was not opposed to. Lol. My boys were pretty easy on me. They still are. They put up with more from me, than the other way. All in good fun.

Usually after I'd done something terrible, or when the good sisters and brothers at Our Lady of Perpetual Discipline would complain they couldn't keep me in line.
