Yes, it’s shitty clip art but its target audience is the knuckle-dragger set who can’t wait to be in charge of their very own concentration camps.

12. My impression (though may be ill-founded) is that it was like a rallying cry for the isolationists

who both downplayed the danger of Hitler/Fascism generally, and didn't want to allow the boatloads of Jewish and other ethnic refugees into the USA.

8. This reminded me of their use in 2015-16 of Nazi term "Lugenpresse,"

"lying press," or "fake news." Almost 100 years later, the Republican Party and their candidate, and his followers, rely very heavily on the fascist tactic of attacking the truth-telling press that was critical to electing Hitler's fascist party to power.

Apparently our domestic fascists didn't like the blowback Trump's "very good people's" brazen use of the Nazi term were causing, though, because they dropped it then. Anyway, this obvious graphic redux made me curious to see if they'd resumed using Lugenpresse, but no. Europe's fascists are using it, but America's fascists are sticking to Trump's "Fake news!" that's now burned into America's psyche.

10. In a sense, it also desecrates the flag.

Apparently, Republican think they have the right to use and adulterate all of America's traditional symbols.....flags, eagles, etc. totally at will with no consequences.

I see this logo in more simplistic terms: Republicans pushing rampant patriotism, militarism and global domination as a show of bravado and rally 'round the flag for the ignorant base. And, it does indeed have fascist undertones.

Ironic that they love to suggest American global domination while they slowly weaken our government's institutions and bankrupt our economy. That clearly tells us what their real motives are.
