We all know the pattern, if some news makes him look bad, just say it isn't true. If money is owed, just say you don't owe it. If it's a crime, just say you didn't do it. It is astounding how far he has gotten on "just saying". It does not occur to normal people to even attempt bullshit at his level. A speeder might say he wasn't speeding in traffic court, but will accept the fine when evidence is shown. Regular people are tethered to reality. Trump will up the ante when called on his bullshit, claiming a conspiracy or that "they're out to get me".

He cannot "Democrat Hoax" his way out of actual bodies occupying hospital beds. Doesn't stop him from trying. In his rallies just recently he went on about the "20 names" for the virus implying that the pandemic is something we're making up as we go along. He has only one go to move: bullshit.

He could not have gotten away with any of his crap without enablers. shockey80, you are spot on. It was always some other person or entity who willingly or out of fear of reprisal pulled his ass out of the fires of his own making. There's nobody coming to help him this time. He may get rhetorical support, but nobody will end the pandemic for him.

I have a feeling that his luck may be running out. It's all coming at him too fast and too furiously and much of what is happening is out of his control, no matter how many lies he tells. He will be exposed soon enough. People will turn on him left and right once they realize that he is going down.

All the positive thinking in the world can't change the truth of what is.
