Tidbit from Vanity Fair article: Labor Day penciled in as deadline for Dump to turn things around.

Schooley @Rschooley

"A Republican strategist close to Mitch McConnell told me that Republicans have Labor Day penciled in as the deadline for Trump to have turned things around. After that, he’s on his own." That's it, wait as long as possible. That's the ticket.

And he would be their nominee.

What is the deadline for printing ballots?

Wouldn't that be too late?

I guess that means that if things don't turn around by Labor Day, then they are free to acknowledge that he is going to lose BADLY to Joe Biden and they will campaign to save their own skins. Good luck with that!

I would love to have them in complete disarray in late summer (I mean, MORE disarray, cuz they're already a mess.)
