It breaks my heart

There is a wonderful teacher at our school with three daughters. About seven years ago, her second daughter was killed in a car accident the summer before her senior year of high school. After that accident, her youngest daughter decided to become a nurse. Unfortunately, her daughter the nurse was recently admitted to intensive care as a patient. It is believed that she acquired Covid-19 in the course of her nursing duties.

I wish it was possible to take the mental and emotional anguish from those suffering from the pandemic and load into the heads of all the covidiots and so called leaders of our country. Even if it is just for a few minutes. Maybe then they will understand the damage they are causing.

These are the human stories that move us to tears and give us the desire to make this world a better place, unfortunately folks like trump and his ilk don't seem to care at all. The least we can do is to remove them from power, so we can start rebuilding a more compassionate nation.

every time a right-winger makes a fuss it's plastered everywhere, but over 130,000 lost lives is barely mentioned.

They play to various groups for ratings but generally are unwilling to harp on the continual horrors that this administration and (r)epuglicons have inflicted.

Admittedly, it would not be very scintillating to see the same story night after night:

COVID-19 cases have increased by 89,898 since yesterday. 4,567 more have died.
The federal government still refuses to acknowledge the problem.
Some state governments are seemingly trying to increase the cases and deaths.

Trump continues to play footsie with putine.

My daughter is a nurse at a large hospital. I worry every day she goes to work.
She's a single mother with two kids at home.

I wish them the strength it will take to get through this.

I wish we could do what you wish we could do. The opposition has NO empathy, much less any sympathy. NONE. Of either one. And they can't and won't understand until it plops right down into their laps. And maybe not even then, if there's some Democrat they think they can blame it all on.
