..It isn't complicated. Now Trump has to face the total truth: He will lose & lose by a big margin. Given a chance to be a leader, he follows Putin, and lies more about more. He doubles down on his stupidest comments, like the virus will go away, and obviously doesn't listen to advisors who tell him to stop tweeting, and keep his mouth shut. I am sure they tell him to be brief and talk to the point.
..Donald Trump still thinks he knows it all, and he has proven he knows nothing. Trump will not win, because Biden in an honest reliable person and Trump is the opposite.

(54,770 posts)It should be worse now because people have seen he isnt going to rise to the occasion. And folks arent as likely to protest at the polls in a way that helps trump, or become complacent.

(1,685 posts)Is interesting. Yes he is a major know-it-all who doesnt know his ass from his elbow but at the same time being the consummate conman he is constantly reading the tea leaves seeing how things are going and how hes doing versus the other guy. He knows right now hes behind and he never stops figuring out some new con to win just like the guy selling Chevys, Fords or apartment buildings or whatever other crap he is trying to pedal, like steaks, airlines, colleges, vodka, casinos ( all that have failed or gone bankrupt ). Its always a con and he thinks he can always get away with it and if not well so no big deal just blame somebody else and move on to something else.

(10,144 posts)the last four years. He's been raking in the cash, selling crap on his webstore, holding big fundraisers nearly every week, charging hundreds of thousands of dollars just to have a photo taken with him. And that's just the "legal" stuff we know about. By now Trump must have well over a billion dollars in his various campaign slush funds, PACs, re-election committees, inauguration funds, etc.
Like every other con Trump has run in his entire life, he will figure out a way to keep most of that money. It's been laundered in a thousand different ways over the last four years, Brad Parscale has seen to that. Trump isn't so much concerned with being re-elected, I think the only thing he's thinking about now is squeezing out the last dime from his scam presidency before he's thrown out of office.

he's a genius, a statesman, a brilliant orator, charming and witty..he's never at fault, he's adored, admired, and worshipped...he's going to win and win big bc this time he's getting the popular vote and the Mall will be teeming with millions of people breathlessly anticipating his arrival....not a con..it's a mental illness...The Dunning-Kruger Effect....

(7,447 posts)last time, then a miracle happened.
So he figures, I'll just do what I did last time, but more, and maybe another miracle will happen.
And given how many times he's avoided actual repercussions for his acts in the past, that's not really a crazy belief.

(14,565 posts)The electoral college is at least 2 or 2.5 points in his favor. He needs something major and unforeseeable to happen. But this far out I'm not impressed when anyone considers this a done deal.
Biden is sort of like a good but not great horse trying to win the Kentucky Derby because all the other contenders fall apart.
There are going to be major rough patches, let's put it that way.

I think this guy is both delusional and knows that the fix is in.
The more he cons himself into thinking he'll win will elicit the greatest fall when he loses.

(46,061 posts)1. Big point spread between Biden and Trump, 30 or more points.
2. Reliable and consistent polls showing #1, even the ones that like Trump. Even if MAGAts are lying about not supporting Trump and they vote, it won't make a difference.
3. Too much trouble and too much of a challenge for Putin to change the results.
4. If there are voting irregularities, Democrats of every state, every congressional district, every municipality are on top of the prospect.
5. Joe Biden's team have already made preemptive legal memoranda and legal briefs to be filed on Election Night and are just waiting for Election Night's results.
