DeathSatan offered 1000 national guards when police from other cities refused to come and serve at the convention because of CV19. Thank God the message from DeathSatan got to drumpf too late and the decision was already made. How many lives were saved by this fluke, probably hundreds and with even more hundreds of folks won't get sick? Also, now my sister and I don't have to risk our health to protest him (during the day only).

No rain, no lightening, but 20 something winds with gusts to 30, basically all night.

And our town has a river, over which they fire the aerial display.
Whatever year it was, the 4th was on Monday and the plan was for Saturday.
They were booked elsewhere on the 4th, and wind lasted all weekend.
No fireworks that year.
