are all about asking (every day) "Do you know someone who has had Covid or died? No? Because it is a hoax and no one is really dead!"

Seriously, they are damaged. Apparently, supporting that orange thing causes brain damage.

As a journalist, I'm distressed that these people apparently dismiss the multitudes of stories — of survivors and the deceased — as fabrications of something called the "MSM." It boggles the mind to think there's a not insignificant number of Americans who believe that journalists just sit around making up stories for a living.

7. Yes, they seem to be getting dumber around here...

Here in rural Eastern TN, I had been seeing about 20% of store customers wearing masks about 2 months ago. Then it went down to 10%. Yesterday I only counted 5 customers wearing masks at a packed Food City grocery store. There had to be at least 150 people there.

I was reading the local paper the other day and they had a lot of articles about local events. All of the pictures showed large crowds all congregating closely together and not a mask in sight. Picnics, graduation, fireworks, lake festivals. Some of restaurants have been packed as well.

Our county's cases have already doubled in the past month. It's still a small number because it's not too populated around here but it is still alarming if you look at it as a percentage. Anyway, I expect there to be a rude awakening around here in about two to three weeks. They've got a lot of events going on this weekend too.
