Is it just me? Did trump say everything exactly opposite?
Every dart thrown at the left was in actuality a truth about his platform and followers.
Please reflect and discuss... BONUS: WTF is up with Mary Hart? In my mind, only the Leprous Cantaloup would be thrilled about a woman who insured her legs for a million to be MC for a shit show like that?

1. Yes
The radical [trump] view of American history is a web of lies, all perspective is removed, every virtue is obscured, every motive is twisted, every fact is distorted and every flaw is magnified until the history is purged and the record is disfigured beyond all recognition. This [MAGA] movement is openly attacking the legacies of every person on Mount Rushmore. [trump] defile[s] the memory of Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln and Roosevelt.
One of their political weapons is ... demanding total submission from anyone who disagrees [eg. Barr's DOJ]. This is the very definition of totalitarianism, and it is completely alien to our culture and to our values and it has absolutely no place in the United States of America. |

2. The little tiny bit I could stand to listen to sounded exactly as you noted -- projection,
projection, projection of exactly what he's doing. It was freaky. We're definitely in "fair is foul, and foul is fair" land.

4. More from an increasingly scary text...
“Sometimes they threaten you with something - something you can't stand up to, can't even think about. And then you say, "Don't do it to me, do it to somebody else, do it to So-and-so." And perhaps you might pretend, afterwards, that it was only a trick and that you just said it to make them stop and didn't mean it. But that isn't true. At the time when it happens you do mean it. You think there's no other way of saving yourself, and you're quite ready to save yourself that way. You WANT it to happen to the other person. You don't give a damn what they suffer. All you care is yourself.” This IS the modern GOP/Trumper defined...in thought, action and deed... “In a way, the world−view of the Party imposed itself most successfully on people incapable of understanding it. They could be made to accept the most flagrant violations of reality, because they never fully grasped the enormity of what was demanded of them, and were not sufficiently interested in public events to notice what was happening. By lack of understanding they remained sane. They simply swallowed everything, and what they swallowed did them no harm, because it left no residue behind, just as a grain of corn will pass undigested through the body of a bird.” This IS how they buy it, ignore the consequences and beg for more like the lemmings they have become... |

5. Does anyone have a transcript? Because, yeah, it was a sobering moment.
Racists are unhappy that their side of history doesn't continue to dominate.

6. It was a rewrite of history or...
A miswrite. He failed to mention Slave ownership of founding fathers (only one example)
No wonder... |
