(51,063 posts)Staying at home hasn't been hard for me....... lots of crafts and reading and documentaries. Hubby who's working from home has bad cabin fever.

(11,686 posts)I do wake every single day wondering if this is the day I lose my disability check, food card, housing, and medical. It is a nerve racking and sick feeling everytime I go to get my mail.

(11,686 posts)There are more than likely people who would be worse off than me if they lost the same thing I did. I do not have children so I am lucky to not hav to worry about my children losing basic security.

(9,067 posts)I work in an essential industry that saw demand skyrocket once people had to stay home. I'm making out like a bandit.
I feel guilty as hell about it, but that's just how things are.
I've already lost one close friend to the virus. He was one of the earliest victims. Young guy, good health. He was quarantining in a vacation spot, posting a lot of social media videos about the virus. Then, boom. Sick, then gone. Devastating. PBS did a piece on him.
I worry about my elderly family every single day. I'm terrified for them.

(2,971 posts)Of course, given that my hobby is collecting points to travel internationally in premium cabins, I can't indulge myself right now. I've made (entirely refundable) reservations for a trip to Thailand in January. Here's hoping....
