Given how angry our side gets when Fox “News” and the Rethugs take a quote out of context and twist the meaning, we sure seem to have no problem piling on and doing the same. There is enough to hate and mock about tRump; why go around making things up? The quote as presented in the op literally cuts a sentence off halfway through to make it appear that tRump is referring to Vietnam as a swift victory and confusing it with operation desert storm. Look, he stumbles over the word “swiftly”, and then tries to ad-lib his way out of it, which ends up making him sound like a drunken wedding guest trying to be funny, and there is plenty there to laugh at, but calling Vietnam a swift victory? He didn’t do that, and lying and twisting words around is supposed to be something the other side does.
