The Trump campaign strategy in a nutshell: "If we say it often enough on TV, it becomes TRUE!"

( Our supporters mindless tools. )

We built the wall.

We created the greatest economy in history.

We contained the pandemic and saved countless American lives.

We restored respect for America around the world.

We did more for "the blacks" than any president in history

No president has been tougher on Russia than Donald Trump.

Trump is a stable genius.

PROMISES MADE, PROMISES KEPT!

At least with Trump's supporters and people who are not well informed and dont follow the news.
They just catch those snippets and will believe it. Its repeated endlessly and amplified by the vast RW media machine (limbaugh, all the RW radio stations, FOX news, etc..). We dont have an equivalent infrastructure on the left to counter that effectively.

this week. He said Trump has created more jobs than any other president in history. I said that's bullshit there are 20 million people out of work. According to him all the COVID unemployment was caused by China and the liberal media. He thinks everything should open back up so Trump can get the economy back on track. But get this he is in his 70s and was wearing a mask all this time so he didn't get infected by the Democrat hoax. What can you say to someone that stupid?

It's in the playbook. Sound familiar?

Big lie

His primary rules were: never allow the public to cool off; never admit a fault or wrong; never concede that there may be some good in your enemy; never leave room for alternatives; never accept blame; concentrate on one enemy at a time and blame him for everything that goes wrong; people will believe a big lie sooner than a little one; and if you repeat it frequently enough people will sooner or later believe it.[7]
