(15,703 posts)I watched fireworks from my back deck which were great. I guess they were the city ones. But to my left there were a bunch (professional) and the front of my house another professional set from another city. Ive never seen something like that here. It was nice but just weird. Yes Florida.

(1,849 posts)In order to hide from any would be visitors. I think in the keys they were doing a good job of isolating from the virus. But cloaking would sure discourage folks from trying to visit. Lol

(5,322 posts)Here in Broward County, what looked like a fog everywhere was really smoke from a continuous flow of fireworks, firecrackers, and probably gunshots exploding all around.

(14,565 posts)I saw people outside watching who are never outside watching. You could pick any angle and see several displays near and far.
The usual suspects were setting them off plus homes I don't associate with fireworks at all. I live near a large lake so that accounted for the highest and most spectacular, as they were set off above the lake.
Many neighbors and one relative told me their dogs were very scared and hiding under furniture all night and continuing into today, not wanting to go out and pee.
