The reason the man refused to show his receipt at Walmart for $20 grill. Family has video of the aftermath with the grill in the backseat and bloody receipt on the floor of the car.

Del City police believe that an off-duty Langston police officer who works at the Walmart got into an argument with the suspect while the suspect was in the vehicle.
Officers say the suspect tried to back out with one of the vehicles doors open. At some point, the off-duty Langston officer fired his gun. Police are trying to determine if the off-duty officer fired his weapon before or after the suspect tried to back out of the parking space.
The cop fired 11 rounds into a full Walmart parking lot!

(707 posts)Have the actual police conduct a traffic stop. If big if the security guard had enough reasonable suspicion to even approach him. He should have taken the tag down went his power tripping ass back inside reviewed the security footage. Then and only then contacted local PD with the information.
This security guard was a police officer at a local college NOT on a regular police force.

(6,818 posts)Psycho punks on the prowl with lethal weaponry.
I remember a time when: people didn't carry guns in public, people who shot people were put in prison after trial by jury of peers. These days, in order to promote public safety, anyone can (and often do) legally carry a gun and there are laws making it legal for them to start lethal fights.
That's called progress by conservative metrics. Sane people know better. All the healing talk is good but there needs to be some reversal as well as course correction on stuff like this or there's no healing and no progress. National regulation and constitutional clarification to over-rule states' misguidance.

I personally think that the man who did the SHOOTING should be referred to as the SUSPECT and the man who bought the grill should be referred to as THE VICTIM.
The cop gets the benefit of the doubt even when he is working his 2nd job at Walmart.
The man with THE BLOODY RECEIPT in the backseat is suspected of WHAT, exactly?

(113,259 posts)Steal one". And joy
Ust about every sentence had some similar bs.
What F'n evidence was there to assume that the victim had stolen the grill?
Why did this college rent-a-cop "take it upon himself" to act like judge, jury and executioner?
And on, and on.

(9,895 posts)People with this attitude - the idea that they are entitled to intervene and act as judge, jury and executioner - MUST end forever.
These people are the so-called "law and order" fanatics, except when that law applies to them or when they too must be under the law. Then its a conspiracy or people trying to take away their rights or tyranny.
Fuck these mental midgets right in the goddamn ear. These security guards and off-duty cops and other pieces of shit who feel they are somehow entitled to repress black men or women or children or minorities in general and get violent when they are not given what they feel is the proper "yes suh...mister boss man suh" deference make me want to puke.
These monsters should do the hardest time there is for decades to remind them all that despite their warped minds and twisted sense of entitlement and abhorrent racism, reality is that they are delusional and no better than anyone else or the system does not work. It is past time to pretend that they are anything other than pathetic pieces of shit.
