A Bridge Too Far is in the Netflix queue and I couldn't resist. One heck of a cast. I particularly like the scenes with James Caan and the surgeon. He reminds me of our old family doc. He was also combat surgeon in Europe during WW2. Came home and started a GP practice. No nonsense. Very direct. Delivered me and all of my sibs, among many, many others. Treated nearly all of my sniffles, sprains and broken bones growing up. I miss that old doc. The original Antifa.

(2,993 posts)I don't really know what Antifa is currently, if anything other than a newer boogeyman for the far right. But, just on the face of the notion of anti-fascist, how can the right rationally object? I KNOW! I assumed they are sometimes rational, MY bad. But, how can they be so reactive...its amazing. I love the guy that pranked them at Gettysburg...too funny!!! Glad no one got hurt and sorry for the sane folks living in Gettysburg.
