It just seemed it might be easy to look good but maybe not do anything

If it's basically still working for their "former" employer (e.g., as a consultant), then it's not so former. But if they're not, then yeah, they were canned.

...came out for Pride month a few years ago during an all company meeting. Noticed one co-worker who did not clap...she left shortly after.

It's also recently announced its support for BLM and held conferences online with the company Black Alliance (they support inclusion networks).

No one has ever gone full bat shit crazy to embarrass the company, that kind of thing makes you unemployable. Instead, they leave quietly.

I interpreted they leave quietly and do not become unemployable as they are forced to resign, which is an involuntary termination.

This DU OP states that a spokesperson at the co confirmed person no longer employed. Think I have read this in several of the stories I followed...
