It is well known that Fred Trump was a tough, authoritarian father, and Donald has consistently expressed admiration and praise for authoritarian strongmen like Putin, Erdogan, Xi, and Kim Jong Un. I'm no psychiatrist, but that seems like more than a coincidence to me.
