Fine with me. It's their call. Just make sure that the Texas Republican Party gets sent the bill for treatment of any workers involuntarily there who get infected.

7. Have a friend at a PTA meet right now, trying to decide the logistics of opening the middle school
Tue Jul 7, 2020, 06:35 PM
Jul 2020

Lots of reasonable cautious suggestions, but Every Parent & Teacher facing this decision is saying no one wants to send their kid into this high risk situation.

They have no guidlines to follow that protect their children. Its trial & error no matter how sanitized & spaced the school is.

It is a devastating decision.

From the state if they only open virtually (according to a teacher I know here), so they're being forced to open. With no guidelines from the state or the Tx Education Assoc (a state body).

This is so stupid.
The casual approach that's being taken is one thoughtless thing, but kids have no say if they want to risk their lives & those of their families .

They are innocents.

That seems to be the GOP's attitude about this crisis.

How ironic since at least one book can be called the Unmasking of Don the Con.
