Trump has a new campaign commercial that threatens anyone else elected president will defund the police. Joe Biden would never defund the police. What Trump fails to realize is you can run a country with law and order without being a total asshole and constitutional law breaker. That is what Biden's commercial should say.

(11,996 posts)I do not support defunding police, Biden wrote in an op-ed for USA Today. The better answer is to give police departments the resources they need to implement meaningful reforms, and to condition other federal dollars on completing those reforms.
Every single police department should have the money they need to institute real reforms.

(14,794 posts)I live in a reliably red area and the ads are playing here. Why would trump feel the need to play his ads where he is supposed to win? Could it be that his internal polls are worse than what public ones say?
I know last month some internal polls were leaked and they were so bad that trump threatened to fire Pascal. Are this months even worse?

(14,794 posts)Dyslexia comes to mind. It was really noticeable when he held up the bible. He looked at it several times and still held it up backwards.
I have a friend who is dyslexic, they also spell bad. At least they did until spell check came out. OTH trump thinks he is smarter than spell check.

(14,794 posts)It is ingrained in him to mock those who he sees as smarter than him to make them seem lesser than him. 'If I mock people for their disabilities, they won't notice mine,' type of deal. AKA bully behavior.

(15,805 posts)It was so hamhanded and over the top that it could have been a work of satire. Seriously, that ad was aimed at the paranoid bunkerville crowd who are expecting their imaginary dystopian future.
Anyone who actually thinks Trump is telling a truthful tale with his doom and gloom, carnage in America (another horror story dragged up from Steven Miller's twisted mind) is laboring with as many mental health problems as he is.
