@Yamiche
Spoke w/ CDC Director Robert Redfield in a small gaggle of reporters. He said he, CDC & Pres Trump are totally "aligned" on what needs to happen next. I asked, if you're so aligned, why is the president lashing out at CDC on Twitter? Redfield sort of shrugged & didn't answer.

It sounds like he got his marching orders from Trump.

(3,922 posts)So now we're pulling out of the WHO, at least until President Biden takes over.
We no longer have an independent CDC, which was once revered throughout civilization as a paragon of integrity in the research of infectious diseases.
We have a totally clueless Education Secretary whose primary purpose in life appears to be completely destroying public education.
A Secretary of State who's a blowhard cultist to his deranged "boss".
An Attorney General who's anything but impartial and law-abiding, and may very well be involved in a murder.
Aides and advisors who are openly racist and white supremacists.
A Treasury Secretary who's a grifter.
A HHS Secretary who inexplicably gave infamous evil creep Jeffrey Epstein a sweetheart deal after having him dead to rights on child molestation charges.
A HUD Secretary who may have died a few months ago and no one told him yet.
A Secretary of Commerce who DID die a few months ago.
Intelligence Directors that are simply just lackey's to the incompetent, failed IPOTUS.
There are more, much more. Why??
Why do these scumbags support this deranged fool as their boss? Why???

(16,727 posts)I would hazard a guess that a book or two have been written about this.
Having none of the above, I'm not qualified to have an opinion.
But I still do.
One thing I figured out in college was that ethics was something that should be queried with folks with whom important business and actions are conducted. And never trust most of them, some would say never trust anyone.
Once on campus I overheard a student and a well known business prof greet each other. When the prof asked the student where she was headed, she replied that she was in her way to an exam. He asked her what subject to which she responded quickly with, "Oh, something you know little about." He stopped and asked, "What's that?" She said, "Ethics." She smiled and entered the building, he stood there slightly stunned for a moment, I laughed out loud and got a humbled look from the prof with whom I was also acquainted.
