17. After he catches the little boy

you can hear someone yelling at the mother to jump and her saying no. She sounds frightened and anxious like she's afraid to jump. Or maybe doesn't know that her daughter is rescued and wants to find her first.

Some fast heroic thinking by the mother, too, to toss the kid over the balcony when there's no other way to get him out.

That child has some serious fear and trauma to recover from. He will always know that his mother died saving him.
