Rep. Doug Collins, R-Ga, Calls For Investigation Of Black DA Handling Rayshard Brooks Case

After weeks of railing against the Black district attorney leading the prosecution of the white police officers charged in the killing of Rayshard Brooks last month in Atlanta, a member of the Georgia congressional delegation is taking his criticism a step further – officially calling on the Justice Department to open an investigation.

Rep. Doug Collins, R-Ga., on Wednesday formally asked Attorney General William Barr to open a probe into what Collins described as "the egregious abuse of power" by Paul Howard, the Fulton County District Attorney.

Collins goes on to accuse Howard of being driven by "political pressure" when his office brought charges against the arresting Atlanta police officers involved in an altercation with Brooks, who was Black, before he was shot and killed on June 12.

Five days after the shooting, Howard's office charged Garrett Rolfe with felony murder and 10 other counts. Rolfe faces a possible sentence of life without parole if convicted.

he is smug, disrespectful and a full-fledged trumper. I don’t believe he’s ever asked “what would Jesus do?” or entertained any idea of self-reflection. Disgusting individual.

The man was a church pastor before he became a lawyer. A man helping others follow in the steps of Christ. Stunning, isn’t it.

Makes one wonder where his mind was during his hours of instruction, reading, and writing.
AND, if he indeed did do all of his own "work" (see "Mary Trump - Donny's SAT's&quot what happened to him since then?
Then again, we could indeed look at "accreditation" of institutes of "higher learning." Just like "Trump University," how do these different "specialized" schools of whatever stack up in the overall scheme of things? I remember that one could become a "doctor" with a check and a visit to a Caribbean Island, do some "whatever" to get the "paper" and go home and hang your shingle. I knew of "School Superintendents" that had never been in a classroom but had receipts showing that they had "attended" their "institution" and were worthy of their title.

"Caveat emptor" - "Let the buyer beware!"

The type of people that he pastored to had forebears that years back supported the kkk and used religion to justify it’s atrocities. They are hateful, paranoid people who are uncomfortable with anyone who is not White like them.

This is starting to look like the '60's when we governors standing on the steps of schools refusing to allow black students to enter - or cops blocking bridges to deny peaceful marchers.
Only this time we don't have JFK or Lyndon Johnson or Bobby Kennedy in DC - we have BarrBarrHut and BunkerBoy!
